Erin Martin is a Registered Patent Attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, a licensed attorney with the Florida Bar, and the immediate past President of the Intellectual Property Law Association of Florida.
Erin is a proud alumna of Auburn University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences with a concentration in Pre-Medicine. During her time at Auburn University, Erin worked as an undergraduate research assistant in the thermal regulation laboratory, participating in research studies related to thermoregulation, medical pathologies, and physiological responses to exercise. Erin went on to achieve her Juris Doctorate degree at Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida where she was recognized as a dean’s scholar and the recipient of a CALI excellence for the future award for superior academic performance.
Erin is the immediate past President of the Intellectual Property Law Association of Florida, as well as an Intellectual Property Law mentor with Florida Atlantic University’s Tech Runway and the Venture Mentoring Team, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering the startup community. Erin is also the Treasurer of the Broward County Women Lawyers Association and a member of the Florida Coastal School of Law Alumni Board.
Erin assists clients in all areas of intellectual property including Copyrights, Patents, and Trademarks. Erin prepares and prosecutes patent applications in several major areas, including medical, electrical, and mechanical devices, as well as software and many other areas of technology.
